Agenus, a Lexington, MA based immuno-oncology focused biotechnology company, is building a team of Medical Science Liaisons. Reporting to the VP of Clinical Development, the Medical Science Liaison will enable scientific exchange across Agenus's broad, innovative pipeline of products. The Medical Science Liaison will be based out of either Massachusetts or New York areas, but will be expected to travel frequently for face to face interactions across the USA.


  • Partner with external parties, such as Key Opinion Leaders, key institutions and patient advocacy groups, to enable scientific exchange relevant to the field of immuno-oncology.

  • Maintain clinical and scientific expertise across relevant molecule and disease state areas.

  • Manage Key Opinion Leader engagement plans.

  • Develop scientific materials to support scientific exchange.

  • Collaborate with clinical development and operations teams to support the recruitment of clinical trials.

  • Facilitate investigator sponsored trials.

  • Provide feedback and insights from external interactions to internal stakeholders (scientific, clinical and commercial teams).

  • Adhere to corporate SOPs and ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory guidelines.

  • Present data and/or scientific information at medical meetings.

  • Participate in the development of medical affairs strategies for company's first drug launches.


  • An advanced clinical degree (e.g. PhD or MD)

  • Experience with oncology preferred, experience with immuno-oncology strongly preferred

  • Ability to travel frequently

  • Excellent communication and networking skills

  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with influential thought leaders

  • Ability to search and interpret medical/scientific literature

  • Prior MSL experience a plus

  • Highly motivated self-starter

Our researchers study the way humans understand and interact with cyberspace and the way cyber systems interact with the physical world. Job Description Data Science Researcher The Cyber Systems and Operations Group works closely with the nation's cyber forces, intelligence community, and federal agencies to identify operational gaps in cybersecurity capabilities and analyze their current and planned systems and missions. We focus on enabling full-scope DoD, IC, and civilian government operations within the cyber domain and across traditional mission domains and sensing layers. We conduct research and development of systems providing situational awareness (SA) and command and control (C2) in the cyber domain. Key technology development thrusts include novel sensors, actuators, sense-making, analytics, decision support, knowledge representation, Human Machine Interface (HMI), visualization, automated planning, cloud-based information sharing architectures. In this role, you will researching and developing innovative algorithms and analytic approaches to identify interesting or anomalous cyber activity, and developing prototype analytics capabilities using our extensive data catalog. Several operational network environments, complete with a range of over 60 real-time network and host data feeds, will be the basis for this work. Additional tasks could include interaction with cyber analysts to understand analytic needs and tasks, and to validate the utility, efficiency, and efficacy of analytic work. Requirements: MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or another related discipline with experience in a combination of. In lieu of a MS, or BS and 5+ years of directly related experience will be considered. * Experience with machine learning, statistical modeling, user behavior modeling or data mining is required * Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or R is required * Experience working with big data processing technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, Mesos is required * Experience with networking protocols, network security, network analysis and/or host forensics is desirable * Experience with human-computer interaction, visualization, or user interface development is desirable Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
