Provide quality patient care in a prompt and professional manner. Assist in providing patient education. Communicate patient information to and from physician and office staff.

  • High School graduate or equivalent required.

  • Three (3) years experience as a medical assistant in a clinical setting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

  • Knowledge of the following equipment: Glucometer, PT INR machine, wheel chair, and thermometers.

  • Knowledge of the following test: urinalysis and EKG.

  • Organizational skills.

  • Oral and written communication skills.

  • Customer services skills.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients, visitors, and coworkers.

  • Ability to show proficiency by passing all written and clinical test.

  • Able to travel between physician offices if assigned to the MRA Float position.
