Robert Half OfficeTeam is looking for an experienced Medical Records Specialist to work at a reputable healthcare facility in northeast Portland. The ideal candidate will have exceptional keyboarding skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

If you are looking to further your career in the medical field and have experience using EPIC or Centricity, then this is the position for you! How you will make an impact: ? Scanning medical records into a digital record system ? Reviewing intake charts for accuracy prior to scanning ? Auditing medical records including follow-up on deficiencies ? Confirming that all releases of information are current and valid ? Ability to enter data into various electronic systems while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the data

What we're looking for: ? High school diploma required ? Ability to multi-task and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds ? Excellent telephone etiquette and keyboard skills ? Ability to work efficiently and accurately ? Healthcare clerical experience, including a working knowledge of medical terminology preferred ? At least one year experience working with medical records required ? Previous experience working with an electronic medical system required (Epic, Centricity, etc.) ? Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a requirement ? Proficiency with Microsoft Office required

The Gastroenterology West Specialty Group of The Oregon Clinic is seeking a full-time Medical Records Representative to join our busy clinic located in SW Portland (adjacent to Providence St. Vincent Medical Center). The position will primarily be responsible for supporting staff and covering where needed for chart records prep and recalls, orders follow up and pre-loading patient information. Candidate may also be trained in other medical records duties, including scanning and indexing, converting documents to digital format and proper labeling of records, retrieving and releasing records, handling incoming faxes, performing timely communications via phone, email and instant message, and other miscellaneous duties as requested. We are looking for a team member who is detail oriented, strong at multitasking and dedicated to high quality patient care. Starting pay range, based on experience: $15.04 - $17.69 Medical, Vision, and Rx Insurance is 100% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for full-time employees. Requirements: * Two years of experience in a medical office setting preferred * RHIT or RHIA certificate preferred * Prior experience working with Electronic Medical Records strongly preferred, specifically Centricity EMR * Moderate to advanced computer skills required.
