We specialize in Chart Retrieval Services, Credentialing Site Reviews, and Electronic Medical Record Storage. The ECS division has grown to over 2,000 dedicated staff members across the United States. We continue to meet the growing demand for our services by expanding our network of skilled staff to provide our clients with immediate and secure professional services.

ECS has an established nationwide presence and we are looking for individuals with medical record experience. This is a temporary position where individuals will be engaged to scan medical records in various provider offices for up to three months. This is a project related position and applicants must be able to commit to the project for 12 weeks. Applicants must be available to be scheduled Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. Training and equipment will be provided. Compensation is hourly and varies based on project. Competitive reimbursements for drive time and mileage are available. There is also opportunity to earn aweekly bonus.


  • Travel to and from medical offices arriving on time, prepared to work and in professional appearance

  • Scan medical charts at various medical facilities using company provided equipment.

  • Upload scanned medical charts to our corporate data center using your high-speed internet connection

VIEW JOBS 12/12/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-03-12T00:00 JOB DESCRIPTION Under the general supervision of the Police Commander, performs specialized clerical work with confidential information requiring technical skills, heavy phone usage, front counter assistance, and involves preparing, screening, routing, filing, and proper distribution of sensitive police and other public safety related reports. The Police Records Clerk receives and maintains all types of public safety-related documents, processes them into a database management system, retrieves and disseminates them as required, and conducts database research for reporting purposes to citizens, departmental staff, and outside agencies. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS * Receives written and electronic report documentation from patrol division, investigations division, outside agencies, and departmental staff for archival storage. * Performs comprehensive computerized data entry on all received reports. * Performs Uniform Crime Report (UCR) encoding for each police incident received, transmits UCR reports to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement bi-annually and annually. * Processes and transmits highly sensitive copies of cases to the courts, State Attorney's Office, DHSMV, City Clerk, Drivers Improvement, and Domestic Violence Shelter. * Maintains an adequate follow-up system to ensure completion and submission of reports. * Disposes of police reports and documents after receiving state-issued destruction orders, based upon mandatory state retention schedules. * Assists citizens, officers, the media, and other agencies with requests for copies of reports and documents, using judgment in compliance with current public record laws to maintain record confidentiality. * Handles telephone requests for information from citizens, officers, the media, and other agencies, using judgment in compliance with current public record laws. * Provides certain technical information to City staff and citizens and interprets City rules within a defined area of activity, such as traffic regulations and alarm system ordinances and fees. * Conducts research on computerized historical data and archived documents, on an as needed basis, as required. * Collates statistical information and generates monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for use by the Chief of Police, departmental staff, city administration, the media, and City Council. * Performs phone and counter work to assist customers for such duties as explaining rules and procedures, processing forms, performing cashiering work for the sale of records/reports, equipment checks, background checks, fingerprints, notaries, etc., completes receipts, and forwards funds to the Finance Department. * Participates in training assigned staff to ensure smooth and standardized work flow. * Determines priorities, methods, standards, and sequences of work necessary to achieve objectives. * Assists with clerical duties, such as typing, mail dissemination, operating facsimile machine, etc., for the department. * Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service. * Maintains regular contact with members of other departments, agencies and services, as needed, usually by telephone or other telecommunications. * Maintains daily contact at all levels of the Police Department and with the public over the telephone and in person. * Essential Employees may be required to work during a declared or undeclared emergency. * Performs other related job duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES * Knowledge of laws, rules, and regulations governing the maintenance and release of information from police records. * Knowledge of operations, policies, procedures, and functions of the Police Department. * Knowledge of community resources, services and activities, geography, roads, and landmarks. * Knowledge of methodologies used in maintaining and reporting crime statistics and law enforcement terminology. * Knowledge of public record laws and procedures. * Skill in correct English usage, spelling, grammar, and punctuation. * Skill in modern office practices and procedures and proper telephone techniques and procedures. * Skill in the use of a variety of computer programs, including Microsoft Office, GIS or CAD and various other office equipment. * Ability to maintain responsibility for the preparation, updating, and release of information from police records. * Ability to interpret and apply laws and regulations governing the maintenance of police records. * Ability to retrieve and release accurate information, released only to authorized personnel. * Ability to train other personnel in record keeping methods and procedures, research and compile statistical information, and perform a variety of complex office assistance and administrative report work. * Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships. * Ability to handle difficult people and stay calm in stressful situations. * Ability to exercise tact and courtesy in frequent contact with citizens, employees, elected officials and representatives of outside agencies and organizations. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High school diploma or GED certificate, having completed courses in commercial subjects, including typing with one (1) year experience in modern filing procedures, both numeric and alphabetical; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Special Qualifications: For positions requiring the operation of City vehicles, must possess a valid current Florida driver's license, or be able to acquire one within 45 days of hire. Must be capable of passing a comprehensive background investigation, including but not limited to a polygraph/CVSA, physical and a drug screen. Employees in this class may become notaries to authenticate clerical actions or documentation.
