We cover thousands of homes across the country, with a comprehensive range of programs and services, including host home and foster care. ResCare partners with people in the community who open their homes to individuals with disabilities and assists families by providing adoption and foster care services. As a(n) Medical Records Clerk you will:
Schedules entrance physical examinations within PRH designated time frames.
Schedules and/or tracks appointments for all medical services.
Tracks student compliance and notifies appropriate staff of failed appointments.
Compiles and distributes medical appointment passes; completes procedures for student accountability and attendance.
Compiles data from Medical and Dental staff to prepare required monthly and quarterly reports; distributes accordingly.
Types of miscellaneous memorandum, letters, and other documents as assigned.
Reviews and terminates student active medical records based on Daily Separation List.
Types and processes student medical separation packets.
Other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or GED. One-year certificate in a clerically related field from a college or technical school preferred.
One year certificate from a college or technical school
Three to six months of related experience is required, as well as some knowledge and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Typing skills and some knowledge of medical terminology is necessary.
