As a Medical Receptionist, you would balance the needs of patients and maintain efficient work flow of the office as well as provide support to the physician in all facets of medical procedures before during and after. In addition, you would ensure that the patient has an excellent service experience.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and escort them to the examination rooms; assist patients with the completion of forms as necessary.
  • Become familiar with clinic computer hardware and software and use according to company policies.
  • Answer multiple line and multiple language telephone lines.
  • Schedule appointments and accommodate patient appointment needs, such as ordering transportation, rescheduling, etc.
  • Contact insurance companies to verify eligibility.
  • Perform clerical work as needed, i.e., copying, filing, faxing, etc.
  • Comply with patient needs at all time and ensure all questions are answered.
  • Maintain procedure rooms by ensuring that they are neat and ready for use at all times.
  • Assist doctors during Endovenous Laser Therapy procedures in accordance with instructions and individual doctor preferences.
  • Prepare patients before procedures and clean up after.
  • Ensure patient receipt of post-procedure instructions and how to obtain medication if needed.
  • Monitor supply levels and replace as needed.
  • Train new staff as needed.
  • Assist ultrasound staff as needed.
  • Transport supplies or equipment as needed.
  • Work various hours and overtime as required.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • HS diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Strong computer skills

Join Stericycle and help protect health and well-being in a safe, responsible, and sustainable way.</p><p>Position Purpose:</p><p>The Medical Waste Route Driver is responsible for servicing assigned accounts in the most professional way, ensuring that customers' needs are met on a continual basis for various waste pickup and supply delivery. Provides the highest level of customer service possible at all times. May also transport waste from either a Stericycle location or customer location, to a transfer location or processing location.</p><p>Stericycle Medical Waste Address: 1120 Industrial Blvd. Southampton, PA18966</p><p>Schedule: Monday-Friday</p><p>Start time: 5:30am - 6am ; Time &amp; 1/2 after 40hrs</p><p>Starting Pay: $24.20</p><p>All Company assigned vehicles are equipped with camera telematics which includes inside and outside cameras. In addition, all vehicles are equipped with ELD (electronic logging device) and GPS (global positioning system).</p><p>Key Job Activities:</p><ul><li>Manages assigned routes ensuring customers' waste is picked up in a safe, timely, efficient and accurate manner</li></ul><p>o Pick up and transport waste safely according to all federal, state, and local rules and regulations</p><p>o Follows routing software route schedule</p><p>o Plans daily schedule based on customers' needs by reviewing daily paperwork, e.g., manifest, route sheets, previous VCR, etc. provided by the Transportation Manager/Supervisor or Dispatcher</p><p>o Prepares paperwork, load supplies, load and secure waste and load / unload trucks while servicing customer accounts</p><p>o Pick up specified waste from each customer site scheduled for the day. Ensures that customers have packaged and prepared the waste according to all federal, state, and local rules and regulations before transporting</p><p>o Provide the highest level of customer service to assigned accounts on a daily basis, communicating any issues to Transportation Manager/Supervisor or Dispatcher for resolution. This includes, but is not limited to re-routes, adjustments in container sizes, training, etc.</p><p>o Ensures waste, supplies, and material handling equipment are secured prior to operating vehicle on public highway</p><ul><li><p>Ensures that assigned paperwork is completed legibly, neatly, accurately, and completely and returned to Transportation Supervisor or Dispatcher for processing. Ensures DOT Driver Log is completed, if applicable</p></li><li><p>Communicates with Stericycle Transportation Supervisor and/or Dispatcher regarding any change to route pickups, including address changes, customer not having waste ready for pickup, etc. Ensures that employee covering for specific route is aware of any situations outside the norm in order to provide the highest level of customer service. Reports any problems/issues with accounts to Transportation Supervisor and/or Dispatcher before the close of business each day</p></li><li><p>Performs pre-trip and post-trip maintenance on assigned truck prior to leaving or closing for the day. Reports any maintenance problems to Transportation/Dispatcher for follow-up.
