Medical Receptionist - Posting #22504

Position Summary:

Full-time Receptionist position available for our Battle Ground Medical clinic. Applicant must be flexible and available to work extended hours including some Saturdays as needed. Language preference is given to applicants that are bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Korean.

We are looking for customer service oriented candidates who are Bilingual in English/Spanish. He or she will be responsible for processing patient information, making medical appointments. taking messages and contacting patients via phone on behalf of Sea Mar. The ideal candidate must possess some problem-solving skills and must be able to communicate efficiently with our patients and be sensitive to their needs.

Qualifications:

  • Must demonstrate and maintain a high level of work ethic and professionalism as well as be able to multi-task and properly use basic office software

  • Minimum one-year experience in a medical setting and medical terminology preferred. Knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, Computer and typing skills are required

  • Excellent verbal, customer service, and written skills are necessary for this position

  • Good organizational skills are a must

  • Must be Bilingual in English and Spanish or English and Korean.

Responsibilities include rooming patients, collecting patient information, preparing patients for examination, assisting with procedures, and assisting with overall delivery of patient care. Will be required to obtain MA-Registered and work at MA-R level and scope, must convert to MA-I/MA-C within six months of hire.</p></li><li><p>Certification from national certifying entity (AAMA, NCCT, AMT, NHA, etc) as required for MA-Certified credential.</p></li><li><p>Current healthcare provider BLS.</p></li><li><p>Excellent attendance, positive attitude and strong work ethic are required.</p></li><li><p>Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred.</p></li><li><p>$1000 bonus awarded after successful completion of three months of employment, and $1500 awarded after twelve months of employment.
