We invite you to join the Radnet Medical Imaging team as a Patient Services Representative. Growth and learning opportunity available for a caring professional that wants to further develop their skills and knowledge in healthcare, while making a difference in patient's lives. This part time career opportunity will have a weekends shift schedule, and will be located at our outpatient practice located in San Francisco, CA.

In this medical receptionist position you'll get to:

  • Answer phones and greet incoming patients and visitors.

  • Perform patient registration and insurance verification, and collect co-pays.

  • Guide patients through this sometimes difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns.

  • Coordinate with office staff for timely care of patients.

  • Cross-train and help as needed in other departments (i.e. scheduling, medical records, etc).

  • May on occasion travel to our nearby centers to receive training and/or help with coverage.

Job Summary The Executive Assistant provides exceptional administrative and analytical support for the Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) in a highly demanding, complex, fast-paced environment. Represents the CHRO and UCSF Medical Center Administration in interactions with UCSF faculty, staff, physicians, patients, as well as city, state, national and other external organizations and agencies. With full understanding of the scope of executive leadership responsibilities in the organization, incumbent is responsible for highly complex assignments that are confidential in nature, where excellent judgment is required to triage/resolve problems, and provide recommendations. Provides reception and coverage for UCSF Health Administration main phone lines in accordance with Medical Center service excellence standards; handle calls and visitors for other analysts during lunch hours, breaks, personal time off and absences. Evaluates, prioritizes, triages, and develop solutions to issues that are often highly sensitive in nature. Participates in the development of departmental and individual goals and objectives in concert with the Medical Center's Mission, Vision, Values and Goals. Required Qualifications * Minimum five years executive level administrative experience if bachelors prepared; or minimum ten years executive level administrative experience if no degree * Perform increasingly challenging administrative and project tasks within a complex organization with minimal supervision * Small to mid-level project management skills * Intermediate to advanced knowledge of common organization-specific computer applications (i.e.: Microsoft Office: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) and a willingness to learn and implement new applications * Strong analytical / problem-solving skills * Political acumen and sensitivities to the differing perspectives and political circumstances within all levels of the organization as well as the Office of the President and external constituencies * Advanced service orientation * Strong skills to communicate and influence effectively with all levels of staff, faculty, alumni / donors, students and external constituents, both verbally and in writing * Ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes * Ability to use a high level of discretion and maintain all confidentiality * The flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations Preferred Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training * Advanced knowledge of the organization's processes, protocols and procedures * Knowledge of federal regulations such as FERPA * Knowledge of medical center, campus, and other academic medical center setting * Advising and counseling skills Licensure/Certification * N/A Living Pride Standards Service Excellence * Demonstrates service excellence by following the Everyday PRIDE Guide with the UCSF Medical Center standards and expectations for communication and behavior.
