Summary:

We are hiring for the position of Medical Receptionist, full-time position, at our infusion center located in Canton, GA, responsible for greeting incoming patients and performing other clerical/administrative duties to support the infusion center while supporting and demonstrating TwelveStones values and philosophies in the accomplishment of our mission. This position is not eligible for telework.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Schedule patient appointments. Receive and sort mail, scan documents, etc.

  • Collects data from patients, including insurance information, demographics, and home medication lists.

  • Verifies benefits prior to Infusion Center appointments.

  • Collects Out of Pocket/Co-insurance payments from patients.

  • Greets patients and families, answer phone calls and direct calls to appropriate person. Check in patients for the infusion center appointments.

  • Must report to work on time, maintain acceptable attendance and perform other duties as assigned.

  • Provide coverage Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The successful candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Education High school diploma or GED required.

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a receptionist or similar administrative role, medical practice setting/reception preferred. Must be proficient in MS Office and use to other technology.

  • Functional Competencies: Organization, prioritizing, attention to detail, dependability, cooperation, collaboration, team, initiative, customer service, verbal and written communication, problem solving, multitasking.
