Summary

The Team Leader is the key individual within the clinic responsible for achieving our Mission Statement to provide the best healthcare possible, in a kind and caring environment, while respecting the rights of all patients, in an economical manner, at times and locations convenient to the patient. Team Leaders create and nurture a high performance work culture through leading by example and setting and enforcing high standards of performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Team Leaders are responsible for ensuring a superior patient experience by:

  • Courtesy Ensuring every patient is treated warmly and empathetically.

  • Contact ensuring each patient has an interaction every 10 to 15 minutes

  • Communication Ensuring every patient understands their diagnosis and treatment and addressing any concerns promptly.

  • Timeliness Ensuring timely patient turn-around through prompt registration and efficient clinic operations

  • Follow-Up Ensuring that every patient is asked to return to the clinic and to refer their friends and family to us as part of our Ambassador Program.

Team Leaders are responsible for following established processes by:

  • Facilities Maintaining our facilities to provide a positive patient environment.

  • Procedures Ensuring team members comply with established procedures

Team Leaders are responsible for developing an effective and cohesive team by:

  • Direction Clearly communicating expectations

  • Training Ensuring each team member receives the training and resources to be successful in their role.

  • Accountability Ensuring that every team member knows their role and responsibilities and is accountable to themselves and others for their performance.

Qualifications

  • Four year college degree preferred but not required

  • Demonstrated skills in written, verbal and consultative communications

  • Ability to deliver high levels of customer service and achieve customer satisfaction

VIEW JOBS 1/17/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-04-16T00:00 The Director II, Operations Manager Middle Office Operations is responsible for the supervision of the Middle Office Operations team and ensures ongoing collaboration and communication with the Middle Office Operations Strategy team and fosters process and performance efficiency and effectiveness. This role is responsible for building and managing relationships with the front office and customers (Investments Front Office, ALM, ERM, Finance, Legal, IT, Executives) at an appropriate level, in particular around production-level, time sensitive, complex or regulated operational requirements that require operational support from Investments Middle Office. This role will be responsible for managing change and business continuity by ensuring that new business needs that involve change will be communicated to the Middle Office Operations Strategy team for development or upgrade to avoid compromising day-to-day operations. Responsibilities: * Manage the Middle Office Operations team by providing guidance, direction and focus to more junior staff responsible for production-level trade support, information management, ethics/regulatory & control operations. Responsible for performance management and professional development of direct reports. * Responsible for delivery of timely, effective and efficient day-to-day production-level securities and derivatives trade support, data management, reporting/analysis operations and ensure key person risk is managed well. * Support the development of an innovative and risk-conscious holistic business culture and work environment by managing change and communicating with the staff in the Operations Strategy team. Support the continuous business process improvement initiatives by being open-minded and strategic in finding optimal solutions to business issues recognizing constraints. * Manage timely resolution of new and/or escalated business specific issues which require customer service. Responsible for ensuring aging issues and unresolved disputes are tracked and handled in a timely manner. * Manage the Middle Office Operations Business Continuity plan and coordinate with Investments Front Office and other partners to ensure business-as-usual in case of unexpected conditions & circumstances. Able to perform all Middle Office production-level securities and derivatives trade support, data management, reporting/analysis operations as needed. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university * Prior experience in the investments management industry securities including derivatives middle office operations experience * Prior experience with people management, time management and customer service operations * Strong general knowledge of investments management middle office operations * Strong written and verbal communication skills, research and presentation skills * Ability to build relationships, influence and motivate others at various levels including team mates, team leaders, managers and departments * Ability meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment * Ability to stay current with business and technical innovations * Must be a results-oriented team player Protective Life Corporation Birmingham AL
