Job Summary:

The primary responsibilities of the Medical Office Coordinator is to direct, plan and coordinate the operations of the clinical and front office functions of a practice while ensuring patient satisfaction.

Required Experience:

One year of medical office experience is required.

Preferred Education:

Graduate from a recognized training facility for medical assistants and course-work in health care office management are preferred.

Certifications/Licenses: RMA, CMA or LPN certificate is beneficial. CPR Certification is preferred.

This position supports functions that allow the CDSA to maximize agency revenues, maintain staff efficiency and comply with state and federal requirements. Those detailed duties of the position are determined at the agency level. Duties may be adjusted in response to staffing patterns and/or to meet the needs of theagency. Salary Grade: GN06 Recruitment Range: $31,200 - $33,170 Position: 60040743 Exam Plan: 21-04337 About the Early Intervention Branch The North Carolina Early Intervention Branch (NCEI) is a part of the N.C. Division of Public Health. It is the lead agency for the N.C. Infant-Toddler Program (ITP), which provides supports and services for families and their children, birth to three who have developmental delays and/or disabilities. Research shows that birth to three is a critical time frame for working with families to support their competence and confidence as their child's best teacher because of what we know about brain development. This early learning offers a window of opportunity to make a positive difference in how a child develops and learns. The Children's Developmental Services Agencies (CDSAs), the local lead agencies that implement the ITP across North Carolina, work with local service providers to help families help their children succeed. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for Sedentary Work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for Light Work. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and two years of related administrative experience; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
