Medical Office Associate I - Primary Care At Millburn

Overview

Primary Care at Millburn, part of Atlantic Medical Group is currently seeking an experienced physician practice front end professional.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

• The MOA will assume responsibility for front desk duties such as managing phones, checking in patients upon arrival, scheduling and confirming appointments, collecting co-pays, verifying insurance, scanning documents into the electronic medical record, processing medical records releases, and other clerical duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma required

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Prior administrative experience in a physician practice required

• Ability travel to different practices if necessary

• Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate practice hours

• Strong computer skills and front-line customer service skills required

• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred

• EMR experience desired

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products essential
