We are searching for a MLT for a PRN, as needed, position on our Blood Bank Team.
The MLT is responsible for performing tests and reporting results of requested Laboratory procedures and providing physicians with accurate and timely results to aid them in diagnosis and treatment of patients. Works under the technical guidance of MT I, MT II, MT III, Laboratory Supervisor or Technical Manager. Complies with the Memorial Health Compliance Program, related policies and procedures and the Code of Business Practices; reports instances of perceived and actual non-compliance to Team Leader or through other reporting mechanisms.

An associate's degree in medical laboratory technology; or successful completion of two years of academic study (a minimum of 90 quarter hours or equivalent) in an accredited college or university which includes at least 20 quarter hours of lecture and laboratory courses in chemical, physical, or biological sciences acceptable toward a major in science.
American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) MT or MLT eligible, or equivalent within one (1) year of hire
