The Senior Medical Technologist is responsible for the day-to-day activities of a laboratory department. This position works primarily in the department for which they have responsibility.

This position assigns daily work task to be performed to personnel working within the department, reviews work performed, maintains inventory levels, trains new hires, ensures equipment is maintained, develops procedures and monitors quality control. This position performs both administrative and clinical duties.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

  • Nationally recognized certification as a Medical Technologist from the American Society for Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or equivalent

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences from an accredited college or university

Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience working in a hospital or other clinical laboratory setting is preferred.

Emergency Room Nurse Pleasant View Emergency Center PRN This position will work at both Pleasant View Emergency and Ogden Regional Medical Center Emergency Room. The Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room oversees and directs the care of all patients presented to the Emergency Department. The RN serves as the primary nurse leading the collaboration of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Oversees and directs the care of assistive personnel, maintaining final accountability for the care given to assigned patients. Within the first year the RN will have gained basic emergency and emergency department pathways, knowledge, and skill sets. When the need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
