Medical Imaging Manager
At Select Specialty/ Regency Hospital, a division of Select Medical, our specialty hospitals care for chronically and critically ill or post-ICU patients who require extended hospital care. We are currently seeking a Medical Imaging Manager to join our team. We offer an excellent network of career opportunities across the U.S.
As a Medical Imaging Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the Medical Imaging department. You will need to show effective leadership and supervisory skills along with good communication skills for interdepartmental relationships.
Specific responsibilities of the Medical Imaging Manager include:
Shows effective leadership and supervisory skills along with good communication skills for interdepartmental relationships.
Performs diagnostic Radiographic/Fluoroscopic/CT exams on patients
Explains the procedure to the patient and answers any questions
Develops positive relationships with physicians and other referral sources
Maintains open and on-going communications with leadership team, patients and families
Promoting continuous quality improvement
Timely and accurate documentation
Medical radiographic/fluoroscopic duties as required, especially portable exams

Other requirements of the Medical Imaging Manager role include:
An awareness of QA and QIP on related equipment exams
An understanding of processor, laser imager, and radiation producing equipment problems
The ability to respond to call-outs within 30 minutes
Current ARRT or CMRT certification
3 years' experience in Medical Imaging field (not including school)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Positive, caring and customer-service oriented attitude
Knowledge of operation of GE 9800Q CT scanner preferred
