Medical ICU Nurse Director

Reporting directly to the Assistant Vice President of Critical Care Services, the Inpatient Nurse Director MICU RN will become responsible for the 20-bed Critical Care Unit, overseeing a strong team of RNs, Techs, Unit Educators, Assistant Nurse Managers, and ancillary staff.

Requirements Master of Science in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or Business Bachelor of Science in Nursing or related healthcare field Active Registered Nursing License in the State of Georgia 5 years of progressive acute care leadership experience as a Director or Manager Strong Critical Care experience in Medical ICU, Surgical ICU, or Cardiac ICU This particular healthcare facility has a residency program, so the Director of MICU will be supported by residents, fellows, and Advanced Practice Providers. The Medical ICU Nursing Director will play a crucial role in professional development, employee engagement, and will contribute as a key member of the Critical Care Services leadership team. This 400 bed short term acute care facility offers a broad range of medical services to patients in the surrounding communities, including: cardiovascular services, inpatient and outpatient surgery, 24/7 emergency care, adult inpatient medical surgical and intensive care, oncology services, physical and occupational therapy, and much more This hospital was recently named as one of the top hospitals in the State of Georgia and is accredited by The Joint Commission.
