Education and Training:

Bachelor#s degree and certification by the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB) preferred.

# Experience: At least five years experience in radiation oncology in a major therapy center, two of which should be at the senior staff level. # # Registration, Licensure and/or Certification:# The dosimetrist will be certified#by the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB).# The dosimetrist will hold any current licensure required by state or national authority. # # Skills:# Excellent knowledge of the technical aspects of radiation oncology treatments and ability to communicate these aspects to the radiation oncologist and radiation therapists.# The dosimetrist will have gained experience as determined adequate by the Chairman of the Radiation Oncology Department.
