Medical Director Needed with Pediatric Hospitalist/Pediatric ED experience in a large, community hospital located in Annapolis, Maryland.
This new Medical Director will work and lead a team of Pediatric Hospitalist's and NP's in this combined Pediatric ED/Pediatric Inpatient unit under one facility.
The New Medical Director will be replacing the current Medical Director who will be retiring but available during the transition and for training as needed. This is a 100% Inpatient opportunity, about 75% dedicated to Clinical work and 25% dedicated to administrative work.
Position includes a flexible schedule with no more than 8 hour shifts at a time.
This employed opportunity also includes a very competitive compensation package based on experience and MGMA standards, also includes an excellent benefits package. Physician must be board certified in Pediatrics in order to be qualified for this opportunity. Fellowship training in PEM is not required, but certainly a plus.
