South County Hospital is seeking a Medical Director for the Cancer service line. The Medical Director will be a practicing Oncology/Hematology physician and an integral member of the Hospital's multidisciplinary Physician Group Practice. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced physician leader, board certified or eligible in Oncology/Hematology with a track record of establishing strategies and programs focused on providing high-quality cancer care.

The Medical Director is accountable for the overall functioning and performance of the Cancer service and practice including Quality, Service. Growth and Financial outcomes.

The Medical Director collaborates with Administration and other cancer providers on the development of the strategic goals for the service to support the growth of the oncology program while maintaining high quality and service excellence. The Medical Director collaborates with Practice and Nursing leadership, developing operating plans and leads the implementation of the plans, collaborating with Administration. The Medical Director's leadership is supported by other providers, the Practice Leadership, and staff.

The Medical Director will direct physician and advanced practice professionals, clinical services, develop services and recruit clinical professionals. The position will also maintain a clinical practice to complement their leadership duties.
