Central Animal Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL is seeking an Experienced Veterinarian to join our medical team!

We are a well-established hospital in St. Petersburg Florida and have been serving the Tampa Bay area for more than 40 years. As a general practice, our services include wellness/preventative care, geriatric care, in house laboratory testing, x-ray and ultrasound imaging, dentistry, integrative medicine and nutrition, acupuncture and Canine Rehabilitation. Our offer

• Base salary for experience, full time DVM starting at $135,000 per year

Experience Required: At least 3 years of experience working as a veterinarian.

Responsibilities:

The Medical Director is responsible for providing medical leadership for the hospital, managing associate veterinarians, and assuring regulatory compliance. The Medical Director is also responsible for creating an environment of teamwork in which quality medicine is delivered.

In partnership with the Hospital Manager, the Medical Director is responsible for the financial performance of the hospital, preparing operating and capital budgets, and meeting budget expectations. In addition, the Hospital Manager and Medical Director are responsible for directing staff and the overall management of the practice, under the direction of NVA Divisional Leadership
