Job Title: Medical Director - Geriatric Primary Care (PACE)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Director to lead our Geriatric Primary Care team in our PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) program. The Medical Director will provide clinical leadership, oversee the care and treatment of our elderly patients, and ensure that our program is providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

- Provide clinical leadership to the Geriatric Primary Care team and ensure that our program is providing high-quality, patient-centered care

- Oversee the care and treatment of our elderly patients, including conducting assessments, developing care plans, and coordinating care with other healthcare providers

- Provide medical supervision and consultation to team members, including physicians, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals

- Ensure that our program is meeting all regulatory requirements and standards of care

- Participate in quality improvement efforts to continually improve our program and the care we provide to our patients

- Serve as a liaison between our program and other healthcare providers, community resources, and regulatory agencies

- Assist in the development of policies and procedures to ensure the safe and effective delivery of care to our patients

- Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and training of new team members as needed

Requirements

Qualifications:

- Medical degree from an accredited medical school

- Board certification in Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, or Family Medicine

- Minimum of 5 years of experience providing primary care to elderly patients

- Experience in a leadership or supervisory role

- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations and requirements

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
