The Impact You'll Make in this Role
As a(n) Manager, Engineering
Managing day to day performance of a team of electrical engineers.
Designing complex analog and digital electronics for sensors and pneumatic controls.
Providing electrical engineering guidance and decision-making support to direct reports and indirect teams of consultants.
Leading electrical engineering responsibilities for concept and feasibility development of new product innovations.
Designing electrical circuits and modify layouts of printed circuit boards
Leading Engineering Change Orders for electronic design changes while working with cross-functional team including ME, SW, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Quality.
Conducting product development activities such as prototyping/testing and support pilot builds, verification & validation activities, and risk assessment.
Interfacing with internal and external suppliers, manufacturers, support the design and qualification of test and fabrication fixtures
Creating clear product requirements to translate into designs.
Identifying and mitigating design and product risks
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Vyaire is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Experience developing products from concept to launch.
Experience with sustaining change management.
Experience in analog circuit design involving ADC, DAC, op-amps, solenoids, motor drivers and switching regulators.
Proficiency in Altium Designer or similar CAD software for electrical circuits design
Ability to identify hurdles and introduce improvements to current design processes
Experience designing medical products for compliance to Safety, EMC and wireless specifications.
Ability to troubleshoot complex PCBs.
Understanding of design controls and change management specifically electrical sub-system architecture and requirements.
Knowledge of ISO, regulatory and legislative standards applicable to the development of medical devices
Ability to identify the root cause of issues affecting a design using different methodologies and documenting the findings.
Ability to identify potential issues, assess their impact, and develop and implement mitigation and resolution plans and activities with limited guidance.
