A non-profit located in Downtown, Minneapolis is seeking a Healthcare Data Entry Specialist to assist with a project that could last up to 3+ months. ? Responsibilities include: - Entering both facility and practitioner credentialing applications into their electronic database

  • Data that will be entered could be everything from address and legal business information to phone numbers, practitioner education, work history, etc.

  • Data itself is pretty self-explanatory from the applications; however, in order to ensure it feeds into the system co4rrectly and accurately- there are nuances to each screen of an extra step or two that need to be complete in addition to the application entry

  • Requires efficiency and has minimal room for error- as they are audited by the state of the end of the month and have the right to pull any file they wish to audit. MedTox Clinical Support Team is seeking a Clinical Data Entry Clerk II / Medication Verifier. This position generates various reports from laboratory information systems (LIS), verifies medications prescribed to patients and ensures that information is updated into internal LIS. Key Responsibilities: * Enters demographic and testing information from incoming requisitions into various computer systems. Images of required paperwork. * Images and files paperwork within established turnaround times. * Variety of standard and/or complex coded or non-coded business and statistical source data using an alpha-numeric and ten-key keyboard * Verifies medications prescribed to patients and ensures that this information is updated into internal laboratory computer systems. * Verifies state reporting requirements and updates information accordingly.
