Accountemps is in need of an Accounting Clerk to work in the Healthcare/NHS industry, whose duties will be matching invoices to purchase orders/vouchers, data entry, and assisting with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. This is a long term temporary-to-fulltime position located in the Colorado Springs, Colorado area. Responsibilities:
- General accounting: help with General Ledger account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects
  • Assist Accounts Receivable: help with collection of past due balance, process daily invoices/credit, and apply cash receipt

  • Circulate financial information to journals and ledgers

  • Assemble statements and reports that require utilization of an array of sources

  • Classify documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of accounting codes and expenditure codes

  • Help Accounts Payable: vendor invoices and disbursement filing, accounts payable invoice matching and filing

  • Mend discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required

Requirements

  • AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred

  • Outstanding data entry skills

  • 2 or more years of relevant experience

  • Credentialing experience

  • Experience in in Spreadsheet and ERP system

  • Ability to multitask, collaborate and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds in a fast-paced environment

VIEW JOBS 11/9/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-07T00:00 Instruct and implement the Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) program to educate students in accordance with the curriculum standards and objectives. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS * Implement and evaluate daily lesson plans for students to include scheduled activities and materials of semesters. * Plan instruction to achieve specific objectives based upon student need and established curriculum. * Monitor the attendance of students in the program and coordinate with Associate Director when absences occur two days in a row. Prepare attendance reports weekly for the office management department. * Review student success rates and implement plan to reduce student withdrawals. Meet with students to encourage them to stay in the program. Maintain an 80% student success rate for all classes taught in the program. * Maintain student grades in accordance with established policies. Prepare final grades at the end of each semester to update student records and transcripts. * Evaluate the performance of students regarding achievements in curriculum and activities and make necessary provisions to meet learning needs. * Arrange and coordinate guest speakers, community field trips, and visits to MLT clinics. * Prepare lectures and practical demonstrations for students in class and individually. * Assist and advise students with Medical Laboratory Technician program curriculum. * May assist with the inventory and ordering of supplies and equipment. * Monitor students in laboratory. Assist students with lab procedures and ensure safety precautions are adhered to. * Assists Clinical Director in monitoring students clinical progress. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * Associates degree from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). * Three (3) years of practical experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician or Technologist * Teaching licenses, certifications or other designations as required by local, state or federal laws to work in the field. * Must be currently credentialed by a nationally recognized and accredited agency as a medical laboratory technician or technologist. * Must demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in their content areas.Verbal and written communications skills. * Knowledge of Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and computer skills.
