Job Title: Medical Claims Processor

Job Location: Warren, NJ

Job Type: Contract

Job Description:

Processing medical claims and interpreting EOBs
Principal Accountabilities:

Primary responsibilities involve receiving medical claims from patients, ensuring the adequate supporting documentation has been provided, interpreting the EOB and ultimately determining if the claim should be paid or rejected.
Exceptional organizational skills are required
To a lesser degree, the resource may provide initial support for customer requests via telephone, email, fax, or other available means of contact to the Support Center.
Requires the ability to recognize operational challenges and suggest recommendations to management, as necessary.
Works under moderate supervision and typically reports to the Customer Service Supervisor.
Minimum Education & Experience:

HIPPA certified
Experience in claim processing
Ability to interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOB)
Customer Service Experience preferred.
Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.

Application Architect An Application Architect for Duck Creek Technologies will, in addition to the list of requirements below, define the applications required to operationalize the business imperatives. Perform Technical Feasibility. * Perform Design / Code Review * Participate in Conformance Review * Increase the level of buyer confidence by providing key inputs during the opportunity phase. * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science * Minimum of 10 years experience with .Net Solutions, C#, XML, XSL, SQL and relational database design. * Minimum of 10 years experience implementation experience with P&C Insurance software applications. * Minimum of 5 years experience with release management and code deployment tools. * Facilitation experience for conducting requirements gathering and stakeholder agreement meetings. * Familiar with Joint Application Design (JAD) session, prototyping, Conference Room Pilot (CRP), and similar approaches and principles. * Familiar with business process design concepts and principles. * Experience/knowledge of software development life cycle for P&C insurance software. * Experience with systems integration (Policy, Billing, Claims, Reinsurance, third-party systems). * Experience with implementation of Duck Creek Example Platform solutions for Policy Administration, Billing and/or ASW Claims * Previous experience working directly with customers.
