ARE YOU READY TO MAKE A REAL DIFFERENCE IN THE LIVES OF REFUGEES IN ST. LOUIS? Position provides case management services for medical cases and other identified vulnerable new refugee arrivals.

This position is currently funded through September 30, 2024. Duties/Responsibilities Provide case management to identified medical and other vulnerable refugees Provide resettlement core services, with bi-weekly home visits Assist with health care enrollment; schedule health screenings; coordinate/provide transportation as needed Coordinate and work with employment services staff to obtain employment within 90 days. Follow up with client developed resettlement plan, ensuring progress towards goals Case staffing at 90 days with relevant staff and clients attending Report any client concerns to supervisor and/or appropriate staff Maintain confidentiality of all client information Perform other appropriate duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities Additional language not required, with bi-lingual applicants given preference. Ability to effectively communicate in English both orally and in writing Experience with and comfort using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft 365 Ability to diffuse client complaints/conflicts Ability to stay calm in a rapidly changing environment Ability to make quick, sound decisions Understand and adhere to professional boundaries Ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple projects concurrently Ability to meet deadlines. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
