Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Medical Billing Supervisor, you will contribute to the company's mission, vision, and values by coordinating daily operations for the front office. This includes overseeing functions of scheduling, chart preparation, patient registration, and collecting patient deposits.

What you will do in this role:

Coordinate business office employee schedules daily to ensure that assigned areas are staffed

Oversee the Billing department that perform the following tasks:

Assign diagnosis and procedure codes for each case

• Submit and upload insurance and patient bills
• Apply contractual adjustments
• Monitor logs to make sure claims are submitted and received properly
• Correct rejected claims and re-bill in a timely manner
• Follow-up with insurance companies to ensure receipt of bills within 28 days

Qualifications for this role:

Minimum (2) years of experience in a medical office setting highly preferred. (i.e. ambulatory surgery center, hospital, doctors office)

• Medical Terminology
• Claim Billing experience
• Lead or supervisory experience preferred
• BLS may be required as per facility standard
