Medical Billing Representative

As our Medical Billing Representative, you will help ensure claims are processed and paid accurately and timely. Every day you will track claims through the billing process to determine a course of action to resolve aging claims. To thrive in this role, you must have a working knowledge of UB as well as Facility billing and communicate effectively with patients and their families, providers, and payers.

Here's what you will experience working as a Medical Billing Representative:

• Responsible for working correspondence on a daily basis and accurately updating accounts with the provided information.

• Interact with third parties representative and utilize online sites to review status and update accounts as needed to expedite the claims process.

• Review status of accounts, action taken, and further course of action if warranted.

• Work with third party collections agencies.

• File Probate claims to the Probate courts.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of insurance carrier payment policies, practices, and amounts.

• Medical Billing, Insurance Billing, AR experience preferred.

For this US-based position, the base pay range is $15.66 - $23.45 per hour . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
