Performs routine clinical and administrative duties in support of assigned area or office.
Under the supervision of physician or nurse, assists with performing patient assessments and treatments.
Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection. Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition. Documents patient care given
Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting. Maintains examination areas.
Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
Triage incoming patients; perform CPR and other emergency measures, if necessary
Escort patients to exam rooms; take histories and vital signs; prepare patients for examination.
Utilize electronic medical software to record patient information in compliance with HIPAA/confidentiality guidelines
Provide wound care and perform suture removal as directed by provider
Ensure that all radiological equipment is in good working condition and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, immediately reporting any equipment malfunction to the Clinical Coordinator

High School diploma or equivalent required.
Two years of college preferred.
Successful completion of training as a medical assistant. Successful completion of Radiology/X-Ray training.
Current ARRT x-ray certification.
Technology proficiency: Ability to use practice management and EMR software with confidence and to utilize online lab programs accurately and independently.
Basic Life Support (BLS).
