Responsibilities: The MA duties include answering phones, scheduling appointments, referrals, ordering supplies, calling in prescriptions, rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, recording medical history, etc.
A Medical Assistant will assist providers in providing direct patient care. A Medical Assistant will adhere to the policies and procedures of Henry County Hospital. The LPN position is responsible for adhering to all standards of nursing practice and for managing supplies and equipment with the direction of the provider, department manager or RN in charge. The LPN will promote teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments
The LPN will follow orders for care and treatment of the patient and will adhere to the policies and procedures of Henry County Hospital. MA Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED or graduate from an accredited school for Medical Assistant or proof of certification as a Medical Assistant and BLS certified required. Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in an office setting is preferred. LPN Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school for Licensed Practical Nurses, currently licensed in the State of Ohio and BLS certified. Previous experience in an ambulatory setting is preferred.
