Assist physician and/or practice staff with designated duties related to administrative tasks requiring both clinical and non-clinical skills. Duties include but not limited to scheduling, messaging physician or other clinical associates, medication refills requests, prior authorizations, referral completion, and other various clerical duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education, Certification, Registration, LicenseHighschool or GEDBLS - Basic Life SupportCPR - Cardiopulmonary ResuscitationField of Study: High school
Years of Experience: 1-3 years equivalent experience working as an MA in an ambulatory setting
* Knowledge and familiarity with medical terminology & anatomy * Basic math and computer skills* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written* Strong customer service skills * Knowledge and familiarity in working with insurance companies
