Medical Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Triage patients efficiently as per clinic standard operating protocols

• Record patient information such as vital signs, weight and changes in medical history prior to each appointment

• Perform lab tests as per clinical protocols and as per medical provider orders

• Update and maintain all digital client records and assist in transitioning hard copy records to digital format

• Clean and prepare examination rooms prior to patient appointments

• Help in the front office as needed, taking care of tasks such as answering phone calls and greeting patients as they enter the facility

• Administer medications as directed by a provider

• Assist providers during exam and procedures

• Perform x-ray positioning as directed

• Assist in maintaining the medical inventory as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Must be a graduate from an Accredited Medical Assistant Program, or Certified Medical Assistant with relevant work experience required

• Pediatric experience a plus

• High level of professionalism

• Strong customer service skills

• Experience in using electronic medical record

Rotating Schedule:

Clinic staff will work on a three _ four rotating schedules that includes every other weekend, so you are working 7 out of 14 days; Example schedule (Week 1 - Monday, Wednesday and Friday; Week 2 - Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday).

Clinic Hours of Operation

o Monday

• Friday 12 a.m.

• 8:00 p.m.

o Saturday and Sunday 8:00 a.m.

• 6:00 p.m.

• Urgent Care for Children's clinic hours subject to change based on company needs, training, etc

Compensation and Benefits:

• Position begins at $15/hour
