Medical Assistants provide clinical support to healthcare professionals to deliver quality of care to our patients. Medical Assistants perform a variety of clinical and clerical tasks. Our 5 Urgent Care locations provide easy access to care when your primary provider's office may be closed. We take care of patients during the week days, weekends, and most holidays. Urgent Care is there for a variety of your needs stemming from allergies, colds, infections, or minor injuries.
Provide support to care team
Prepare patient for provider, collect medical history, and take vitals
Document patient visits and complete referral
Perform clerical tasks such as answer patient calls, monitor in-basket, and generate reports
Includes other duties as assigned
Licenses - certified as a Medical Assistant by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or registered as a Medical Assistant by the American Medical Technologists (AMT) within 120 days of hire
Basic Life Support within 120 days
