Medical Assistant - Temp Position With State Of NM DOH

ATA Services, Inc. is currently seeking to hire a seasoned Medical Assistant to work on a temporary assignment in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This is a temporary position with the State of New Mexico – Department of Health.

Pay rate: $25.00 per hour; weekly pay Start Date: ASAP Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Location: 2001 El Centro Familiar 87105 Job duties to include:

Screening incoming visitors Checking vitals Completing health questionnaires Qualifications for Medical Assistant: Medical Assistant Certificate High school diploma or GED required. Completion of an accredited medical assistant certification program.

Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to always communicate clearly and effectively with patients and other external parties in a courteous and friendly manner. Must be detail-oriented and highly organized.

A firm grasp on medical practices, administrative processes, and organizational policies Knowledge of patient care and examination procedures. Must be able to always maintain confidentiality.
