Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent care in a hands-on environment with a hard-working team.

  • Greet our patients, obtain medical histories, and verify patient information

  • Provide assistance during examinations and treatment

  • Perform ancillary testing and tasks as directed by the clinician (PFT, EKG, injections, audiograms, blood draws, etc.) and as certified

  • Dispense medications within the scope of practice as ordered by the treating providers and in accordance with state regulations

  • Assist the front office team as needed

Qualifications

  • Medical Assistant training, or military medical specialist with current credentials in the state of employment

  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, clinical office environment

  • High school graduate or equivalent

The cook position requires someone who has excellent communication skills for both internal and external customers. Must have high sanitation standards and practices, HACCP experience, and a passion for quality food. Position Summary: The Cook is responsible for the preparation of meals. Qualifications: Must have at least two years of quantity or batch cooking experience and a basic knowledge of modified diets. Serv Safe Certification preferred. Must have availability to work some nights and weekends. Responsibilities: Cooks prepares foods according to the menu cycle, standardized recipes and directions provided by the Food Service Director and Dietitian. Documents refrigeration and food temperatures and completes necessary paperwork documentation. Maintains kitchen equipment in a clean and sanitary manner. Reports any equipment needs or issues to the Food Service Director. Presents food in a fresh and appealing manner according to the Food Presentation Policy. Insure that all quality, quantity and timing objectives are met. Follows posted Sanitation Schedule and ensures a clean and organized work area at all times. Other responsibilities as requested by the Shift Supervisor or Food Service Director. Competencies: Knowledge of basic food service sanitation and proper food handling. Ability to use industrial equipment and knowledge of basic equipment maintenance. Ability to "batch" cook for large quantity production. Effective oral communications with management, associates and client staff. Ability to read menus and recipes. Ability to use proper judgment and to maintain confidential information. Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations. Ability to accept direction and adhere to operating and safety policies and procedures. Ability to stand up to 8 hours at a time. Ability to lift and push/pull up to 50 pounds. Understanding of MSDS and ability to properly use and maintain chemicals. Ability to work within deadlines.
