Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist - Women's Health

Main Line Fertility is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist for a full-time position on our team of professional clinicians. The ideal candidate will educate, treat, inform and prepare patients for their appointment. Candidates for this role should be excellent communicators who excel at developing and maintaining patient relationships, working well on a collaborative team and delivering the very best in compassionate, patient care.

Hours: 7:00a-3:30p or 8:00a-4:30p, with weekend rotation and weekly travel to other area offices.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting physicians with patient care

• Prepare patients for exams or treatment including taking patient history, vitals and phlebotomy

• Prepare exam and treatment rooms as needed and ensure they are fully stocked for patient care

• Sterilize instruments

• Perform and assist with general administrative tasks such as contacting/scheduling patients

• Document patient care and maintain electronic patient records in compliance with all regulations and policies ensuring accuracy and in a timely manner

Skills & Requirements

• Certified Medical Assistant strongly preferred - or equivalent experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Phlebotomy certification strongly preferred - or equivalent experience

• Weekend Rotation will be required

• 2 years of healthcare experience required

• Proficiency in keyboarding skills and experience with electronic medical records

• Must be knowledgeable of HIPAA requirements

• May be required to work in other Philadelphia-area locations
