Medical Assistant

Palm Coast OB/GYN is a small, but growing, practice in beautiful Palm Coast, FL. We have a high standard for our work and have an absolute commitment to excellence in the way we treat patients and the care we provide.

We're looking for a part-time medical assistant who is well organized, detail oriented, clean and pleasant. As a medical assistant, you'll be expected to communicate with patients, assist the physician during procedures and keep the exam rooms clean and organized.

• Communicating with patients includes obtaining a detailed medical history and calling patients over the phone to inform them of test results.
• Assisting the physician during procedures includes organizing and providing instruments to the physician during procedures.
• Keeping the exam rooms clean and organized includes cleaning and sterilizing medical instruments and making sure the exam rooms are tidy and well stocked.

Requirements

Applicant must be a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant. (Required)

Comfortable with COVID-19 precautionary measures (i.e., wearing masks, etc). (Required)

Experience with electronic medical records (i.e., AthenaNet). (Preferred but not required.)
