This position is located in our clinic in beautiful San Gabriel.

Our Medical Assistants are important. When you join our family, you will influence how we provide care for our patients while acting as a critical member of the entire care team.

As a Medical Assistant, you will help us by performing administrative and clinical duties.

Key Focus:

EMR Charting

Interview patients for the purpose of gathering health history and current medications.

Take and document vital signs. This may include, but is not limited to: patients height, weight, temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure manually but not limited to use of device.

Injections, as necessary

Participate in mandatory staff meetings as needed.

Assist with inventory organization and stocking of exam rooms and labs.

Promote TOI's culture of exceptional behavioral standards for customer service.

Maintain and protect confidentiality and security of all organizational information gained in the course of performing job responsibilities including but not limited to, financial and client information.

Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Successful completion of Medical Assistant Diploma program

High school graduate or GED

Bilingual in English and Spanish OR Chinese dialect, such as Mandarin

Preferred Qualifications:

Medical Assistant Certification preferred, not required.
