Job Summary and Qualifications

Provides clinical support to the physician delivering patient care in an office setting. This includes taking patient histories and vital signs, preparing patient for examination, taking samples and performing simple laboratory tests, administering medications, providing assistance with procedures, and maintaining clinical areas, equipment, and supplies. Administrative responsibilities include answering telephones, scheduling appointments, maintaining files, and data entry in practice management system and Meditech.

What qualifications you will need:

  • NH Medical Technician Board registration is required if not currently licensed or registered by a NH regulatory board. CMA or RMA Certification within 3 months of hire.

  • Completion of a Medical Assisting Program preferred, consideration will be made for RMA's who have had extensive on the job training. Clinical rotation experience and certification preferred .

  • Proficiency in clinical skills to include phlebotomy, EKG, administering injections, and other required procedures.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in all required procedures.

  • Experience or training in clinical setting is required.

  • In addition, the incumbent should have a demonstrated capacity to work well under pressure, excellent communication skills, and good judgement in a clinical setting. Must be prepared to rotate into all Physician Practice Services practice locations.
