Job Summary:
As a member of the healthcare team, the LPN/MA's primary responsibility is ensuring high-quality and continuity in delivering comprehensive primary medical care services. The LPN/MA performs typical clinical front and back office functions under the on-site supervision of the Nursing Supervisor.
Environmental Hazards:
Possible exposure to hazardous material, hot and cold, blood borne pathogens.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and assist patients, both adults and children, observe patients visually, and communicate verbally. Ability to stand, bend stretch, stoop, kneel, balance, crouch, walk and run with or without reasonable accommodations

Education & Experience
Position Qualifications:
Required:
Valid Driver License required
Current Registered Medical Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant/Licensed Practical Nurse licensure required in the state of Oklahoma
Current CPR certification required.

Skills, Proficiencies and Knowledge:
Knowledge of all areas related to clinic workflow.
Excellent customer service skills and good communication skills.
Ability to multi-task while providing good patient care.
Good computer skills and ability to learn new computer systems as needed.
Primary skills include verbal and written communication with patients to promote continuity of care and follow-up as well as daily retrieval and scanning/filing of clinical encounter forms and reports for use by clinic staff during patient care activities.
Preferred:
Experience in HIV primary care is preferred.
Bilingual translation skills a plus.
