The Medical Assistant (MA) at Montgomery Cancer Center will be assigned to the provider clinic area. The MA should provide quality patient care in a prompt and professional manner; assist in delivery of patient education; communicate patient information to and from provider; document in the EMR, stock and clean rooms and other various job tasks as assigned. Full-time, Monday - Friday.

• High School Graduate or equivalent

• Medical assistant training through a certificate program or at least 2 years experience as a medical assistant in a clinical setting

• Professional communication skills

• Computer data entry skills, prefer experience with electronic medical record.

• Excellent customer services skills.

• BLS required within 6 months of employment
