We are seeking a motivated, warm hearted, and experienced candidate, for our Full Time Medical Assistant role in Ludington Family Practice. Provides clinical support to health care professionals to ensure the delivery of quality health care services.

Basic Qualifications:

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

Experience

  • Successful completion of a competency based orientation program

Specific Certification/Registry is required for this role, within 12 days of the start date:

Medical Assistant- certified as a Medical Assistant by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or registered as a Medical Assistant by the American Medical Technologists (AMT), within 120 Days

Basic Life Support (BLS) 120 Days

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience

  • 1 year of experience in working in a physician practice or healthcare setting, using EPIC, giving injections, and caring for a variety of patient populations and acuity levels

If not yet certified/registered, preference is given to candidates who are eligible to sit for the AAMA or AMT exam and have their exam date scheduled.
