At the Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplant Center at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, more patients leave our#center every year with new hearts and a renewed lease on life than any other program in New England. Within#the Cardiovascular Center, you will work alongside some of the top cardiology specialists in the nation in the areas of heart failure, cardiac transplant and mechanical cardiac circulatory support.# In 2016, we performed 56 heart transplants--more transplants than we have ever done in a single year.
This placed us as one of the top 10 programs in the country for heart transplant volume and broke the previous New England record for heart transplants performed in one year (which stood at 37 procedures since 1991). Today we continue to be a robust program and pride ourselves on providing individualized patient-centered care. Our multidisciplinary team is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to help support our very busy outpatient clinics and help care for our patients.# The role will include direct patient care responsibilities as well as administrative functions.
