ATTENDANCE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION ARE AS FOLLOWS: Non rotating 40 hour work week, Monday

5:00 pm. Must be available to work additional hours as needed.

Responsibilities
Manage the Gas Division by effectively overseeing departmental operations including the following areas: Construction, Maintenance and Operations, Pressure and Measurement, Oil & Gas Well and CNG stations.
Manage human, financial and information resources strategically by adhering with City Policies and departmental goals.
Perform budget management by evaluating long range planning, preparing the annual budget, preparing vehicle and equipment capital outlay for the department, reviewing revenues, expenditures and monthly gas cost adjustment rates and assisting in the development and enhancement of gas supply contracts.
Plans expansion and replacement of infrastructure by focusing on market growth and critically analyzing risks and threats associated with the existing infrastructure.
Monitor in house design and construction of projects and strategize CIP projects to meet Mission and Goals.
Manage operational teams to provide excellent customer service, resolve customer issues and takes measure to improve response times.
Ensure compliance with Federal and Texas Rail Road Commissions' rules and regulations by adopting best operational practices.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge and skills to accomplish the missions assigned.
May be asked to perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor's Degree
Minimum of seven (7) years of experience
Candidates with a current P.E. (Professional Engineer) license highly desirable
A valid driver's license is required. Successful out of state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Texas driver's license within 90 days of hire

Application review and the City may also conduct additional skill assessment tests, in addition to the panel interview.
