Baptist MD Anderson is currently hiring for a Certified Medical Assistant II to join our GYN Surgical Oncology team. This is a Part-Time Days position with 8-hr shifts Monday and Wednesday 8:00 AM -4:30 PM and Friday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM.

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Outpatient Oncology Job Responsibilities:

• Provides nursing assistance to physician

• Obtains vital signs

• Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit

• Responsible for telephone triage and patient education

• Maintains medical documentation

• Schedules care, treatment, and diagnostic tests, per physician

• Processes CLIA waived tests, prescription requests, and referrals

• Cross trains in front office, referrals area, and other areas
