Responsibilities and Qualifications
Support the provider in the delivery of health care to patients. Assist the provider in the treatment of patients, administering medical care to patients at the direction of the provider, Perform related tasks to support the provider in fulfilling the medical needs of patients, and in the efficient, effective operation of the clinic.
Triage patient telephone calls and communicates with physician and nurses daily in a professional manner. Communicates with patients, families, visitors, and other co-workers in a caring, friendly, personal and professional manner. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
The incumbent in this position shall carry out his or her responsibilities and integrate into his or her work ethic the Mercy Philosophy of caring for the sick and suffering, respect for human life and the dignity of each person, apply Christian values to all crucial human issues in the area over which he or she has responsibility. Performs related duties as assigned.

Nurse aide experience required.
Current Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association is required.
