Multi-physician practice is looking for a skilled Medical Assistant with at least one-year current/recent medical experience.

Duties and Skills include but are not limited to:

* Assisting the physicians as needed
* Calling patients with test results

* Injections

* Entering patient information into the computer using EMR
* Strong oral and written communication
* Proficient computer skills
* Rooming patients
* Obtaining accurate patient vitals

* Injections

* Patient education

Medical Assistant will need to have verifiable professional references.
Position hours are Monday through Friday and may vary between 6:00am and 6:00pm.
Medical Assistant salary up to $ 16.50 DOE.

Performs patient care, secretarial and technical related services for the neonate thru geriatric patient population in both the back and front office.# Qualifications: Requires a High school diploma or GED certificate. Requires graduation from an accredited program for Medical Assistants.# Prefer at least one (1) year of relevant related experience, preferably in clinic setting.#Requires BLS. A BLS card#obtained through an approved#American Heart Association (AHA) training center is preferred and will be required within 3 months. Must be eligible to sit for the Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification exam.# Requires the ability to read, write and speak effectively in English.# Bilingual is preferred. Must have ability to work with culturally diverse people. Requires excellent communication, time management and leadership skills.
