ChristianaCare is hiring a full-time Medical Assistant for the Hematology Oncology practice at the Helen F. Graham Center in Elkton, MD.

Our medical assistants are responsible for all rooming, chaperoning, supporting office procedures, patient check-out, chart prep, phone triage, Cerner desktop management, FMLA/disability paperwork and prior authorizations, both surgical and diagnostic.

Work Schedule:

• Monday

• Friday, 8a

• 4:30

• No holidays required.

• May rotate between sites at Newark, DE and Elkton, MD.

Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or Equivalent

• A graduate of a recognized Medical Office Assistant Program or hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)
