Pay Range: $13.09 - $18.34
JOB SUMMARY: Provides support in the medical field by performing various medical and clerical activities to assure quality care and a more efficient work place.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education [formal]:
High School Diploma and graduate of an approved school for medical assistant required.
Credentialed as a medical assistant is required. (CMA, RMA, NCMA)
Experience:
A minimum of six months work experience in a health care facility performing duties relating to patient care is preferred.
Additional experience involving computer knowledge.
Special Skills and Competencies:
Communication skills with the ability to maintain and display professionalism with customers and coworkers.
Organizational skills with attention to detail.
Computer skills Flexibility and adaptability.
Functions as a patient advocate.
Typing speed of 35 words per minute (verified by testing) preferred
Clinic Nurse (LPN)
Pay Range: $14.79 - $21.01
JOB SUMMARY: Clinic Nurse is a professional nursing position that provides quality patient care and is a patient advocate.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education [formal]:
High School Diploma and graduate of a school of nursing is required.
A current Iowa License as a Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse is required.
Experience:
Six months previous ambulatory care experience is preferred.
Additional experience involving computerized data equipment is preferred
Special Skills and Competencies:
Communication skills with the ability to maintain and display professionalism with customers and coworkers.
Organizational skills and attention to detail.
Flexibility and adaptability.
Functions as a patient advocate.
Typing speed of 35 words per minute (verified by testing) preferred

The MA in training is responsible for providing technical/clinical/clerical support to licensed provider and/or physician. Required Criteria Education: High School/GED Diploma Experience: * A minimum of 6 months experience as a CNA, Patient Specialist, or other healthcare related position (St. Luke's Health System preferred) and, * Completion of a CNA program (certification exam not required). Comparable related formal training considered. This is an entry level Medical Assistant position. No MA experience is required. The MA will be oriented to skills and tasks within initial scope of practice (determined by experience/training level). On-the-job training will be provided as the MA supports the clinic, and paid study time each week (4 hours/week) will be provided with additional study time expected outside of working hours. The MA will advance as competence increases with studies and hands-on experience. After approximately 9-12 months, the MA will sit for the credentialing exam, and be eligible to support our clinics in a Credentialed MA role.
