Medical Assistant Comprehensive Care

Our Comprehensive Care Practice is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to perform duties within the scope of responsibility of a medical assistant with additional tasks related to patient flow in the office. Duties include, but are not limited to, escorting patient into the clinical area, taking vital signs and documenting them in the patient record; obtaining history of the current visit and documenting information in the patient's record.

REQUIREMENTS: High school graduate or equivalent; successful completion of a Medical Assistant training program; two years of general experience as a medical assistant in a patient care or clinic environment. Registered/Certified Medical Assistant required within six months of hire; bilingual in English/Spanish preferred. This is an outpatient practice providing treatment to individuals with substance use disorders.
